Kathryn Hahn joined the cast of the Apple TV+ series “The Studio” for a Sirius XM Town Hall on Wednesday. The appearance took place as Hahn was being announced as a star in an upcoming Marvel film during a livestreamed event.

For the Town Hall, Hahn wore a layered dress from Altuzarra. The dress was sea mist and featured no sleeves.

For shoes, Hahn wore a pair of red Gia Studios sandals. The shoes were made of leather. They featured two straps. One strap was over the toes. Another, started at the heel of the foot and wrapped up around around the foot. Each strap included a silver buckle. The sandal‘s sole included a blunt toe.

She wore the same shoe later to the premiere of “The Studio” at the Museum of Modern Art. She paired it with a woven dress from Gia Studios.

The entire shoe sits on a kitten heel, likely about two inches. The heel is known as a comma style heel. Roger Vivier reportedly created that silhouette, first when he was working with Christian Dior. The shoe designer began working with the brand in 1953. The comma heel became Vivier’s signature after he opened his own boutique in 1963. In 2023, Vivier celebrated the comma heel which it calls the “Virgule” in an exhibition.

It is unclear who designed Hahn’s shoes. Khaite had a similar show named the Seigel. That style notably included a gold accent on its back and did not include buckles on the straps. The silhouette was one of three shoes Khaite recalled in 2023 due to a fall hazard. Some retailers still have versions like a black suede style for $736.

Toteme has a much shorter kitten heel style that feels vaguely familiar to Hahn’s sandal. It also features two straps and no buckles.
