Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt and Chris Pratt called on spring in a pair of classic white pointed-toe pumps and tan lace-up dress shoes, respectively, at “The Electric State” premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.
Schwarzenegger Pratt opted for sleek white pumps with approximately four-inch stiletto heels. Her ’80s-nodding shoes coordinated with the large white lilies embroidered on her black pants and long tube top from Oscar de la Renta.
Pumps are a classic women’s shoe style that have remained a red carpet favorite for their versatility and elegance. Pointed-toe pumps with a slim stiletto are a popular variation of the shoe, and have increased in popularity in recent years, thanks to pointy toes coming back into trend after their heyday in the ’80s and ’90s. You can find pointed-toe pumps from prestigious designers including Manolo Blahnik, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Gianvito Rossi, Balenciaga and Christian Louboutin — the So Kate pumps are a bona-fide red carpet staple.
Pratt stepped out in pair of Paul Smith‘s Balthazar Oxford shoes in the shade ecru. The classic men’s lace-up dress shoes featured wood-strike soles, updated in light colored suede. He paired them with a lilac-grey suit and grey t-shirt. Together, the couple looked ready for a spring wedding or Easter Sunday brunch.
Pratt stars in “The Electric State” alongside Millie Bobby Brown, with Ke Huy Quan and Stanley Tucci also joining the cast. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo of “Captain America” fame and is based on Simon Stålenhag’s 2018 illustrated robot apocalypse science-fiction novel. It will be released on Netflix on March 14.
“The Electric State” world premiere took place at the iconic Egyptian Theater Hollywood yesterday. Bobby Brown walked the carpet with her husband Jake Bongiovi, and Tucci with his wife Felicity Blunt. Huy Quan and the Russo brothers also attended the premiere.
