Kate Middleton attended her annual “Together At Christmas” carol service held at Westminster Abbey tonight in London.
The event was a family affair as Kate was joined by her husband Prince William, Prince of Wales and her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. This is one of a handful of appearances the Princess has made since the reveal of her cancer diagnosis at the beginning of 2024.
Dipping into one of her favorite styles for the fall and winter seasons, the Princess popped into a pair of black suede booties. The footwear pick included inky black textural suede uppers that transitioned into pointed toes and thin 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels.
Kate’s pick is similar to her favorite Aquatalia Rhumba or Stuart Weitzman Zipkin boots she’s opted for in the past. Formal or casual, rain or shine, Middleton and much of the royal family are suede people through and through, and it’s not hard to see why. Suede styles are unique in texture and endlessly versatile.
Paired with her black booties, Kate went the colorful route in a lengthy bright red wool coat fixed with black button closures and a large bow fixture on the bodice between the lapels. The coat was layered overtop what appeared to be a red, green and white plaid and houndstooth maxi skirt and a black long sleeve of some kind.
Kate can often be found wearing pointed-toe pumps from Emmy London, Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weitzman, among others. However, her go-to style is Gianvito Rossi’s 105 pumps. In addition to her royal rotation of heels, the duchess also wears affordable sneakers from New Balance, Adidas, Superga and Zara on and off duty.
The annual carol service is spearheaded by the Princess and supported by The Royal Foundation. The event offers a chance to pause and reflect on the profound values of love, compassion and the vital connections we share.
