Karol G Brings Her Furry Tour Boots to Madrid — Here’s How the Style Is Taking Over Stages All Over the World

Karol G brought the heat at her July 20 concert in Madrid, where the Colombian singer took the stage in a bodysuit and furry knee-high boots — a look she’s been modeling on her Mañana Será Mejor tour.

On stage at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for the first of four nights at the venue, the reggaeton star performed in a neutral-toned fitted bodysuit, including pants and long sleeves. Dark crystals were scattered across the entire bodysuit, with larger stones arranged in curves and V-shapes throughout. Her waist-length straight hair was platinum blonde with pink highlights, contributing a bold display of color to the ensemble. Karol G previously wore an iteration of this outfit while on tour in the United States; at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, she accessorized with sunglasses and a sarong.

Karol G made sure to bring her trusty furry white boots with her across the ocean to perform in Europe this summer. With a fur texture, the shoes feature a chunky cylindrical silhouette that rises to just below the knee. They also include a pointed toe and relatively short block heel, lending the singer some extra height. With a thick fuzzy material, the boots juxtapose the skin-tight style of her bodysuit.

Karol G isn’t the first to wear furry boots on the concert stage, even during the warmer months of the year. The whimsical style was trending at Coachella this year, with artists including Doja Cat and Ice Spice donning their own preferred version of the shoe. Beyond the stage, the trend persists: Gwen Stefani wore a fuzzy platform boot by Vivienne Westwood at “The Fall Guy” premiere; Lizzo wore a brown pair with a rainbow outfit from her shapewear brand Yitty at WeHo Pride this year. It remains a striking shoe choice in any season, sure to draw attention to the foot with its oversized silhouette.
