Karlie Kloss was photographed running errands solo on Friday in New York.
For her stroll in the city, the model slipped into a pair of black leather loafers in a slip-on style, apparently worn without socks. Kloss’ footwear was crafted of matte leather uppers that transitioned into rounded almond-shaped toes.
Loafers are particularly loved by top models of the day including Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid. Unlike more dressy and sophisticated oxfords, loafers are considered a comparatively relaxed style. Loafers do not have lace-up closures and can often be found in platform styles. Many brands stock the silhouette including Coach, Aldo, and Sam Edelman.
Bundling up, Kloss wore a tan turtleneck tucked into dark-wash denim trousers. Overtop it all, the runway regular sported a tailored black wool jacket that kept her snug. Finishing off her look, Kloss wore black cat eye sunglasses accompanied by a variety of dainty gold jewelry. The model wore her dark tresses slicked back and into an updo, parted down the middle.
Kloss’ footwear wardrobe is varied, often featuring strappy heeled sandals and loafers by The Row, Jacquemus, Versace, and Kurt Geiger. She also prefers strappy sandals or pointed-toe pumps by Roger Vivier, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Aquazzura for formal occasions. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is a longtime member of the fashion community, starring in campaigns for Dior and Marc Jacobs, among other high-end brands.
She’s also been an ambassador for Express, Swarovski, Carolina Herrera Fragrances, and more. Outside of fashion, the star is the founder of Kode With Klossy, a company that empowers girls to learn to code and become tech leaders and has co-designed multiple collections with Adidas featuring apparel and shoes.
