Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae Brown got fancy in elevated shoes while arriving on the blue carpet at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards at Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on Thursday night.
For the occasion, Kane went simple in black oxford shoes, which has been a common theme amongst the men of the evening. Crafted with leather material, the footwear featured a slight triangular design, which is in the realm of what his contemporaries have been choosing in footwear for their upscale appearances. The shoes also didn’t contain any laces or embellishments, instead featuring a slip-on design. Rounding out his ensemble was a small block heel estimated to be in-between 1-to-1.5 inches in height.
Kane’s outfit of choice for the ceremony was a dark navy suit, which included an oversized blazer with black buttons and matching trousers. Underneath his jacket was a simple black dress shirt, which he accessorized with a silver chain. Black sunglasses provided the finishing touch.

As for Katelyn, her shoes were barely visible as they were covered by her dress. From the outline, however, they appeared to be pointed-toe pumps as you could see the triangular upper peeking through her dress. Based on her love affair of heels with elevated height, it’s likely the silhouette was completed by a stiletto heel ranging somewhere between 3-to-4 inches. Choosing a burgundy peekaboo one-strap dress with a sheer design, she accessorized her outfit with a matching clutch and silver bracelets. Keeping her makeup simple, she styled her long blonde locks in a middle part.
Kane isn’t the only male celebrity that chose oxfords for the awards. Machine Gun Kelly was also spotted on the red carpet in a pair of black pointed-toe oxfords that were made with sleek, glossy patent leather material. Featuring a minimalistic design in the upper, the shoes were partially covered by his pants and were characterized by a triangular sharp toe-box.
The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards is a new award show celebrating the best artist in country music. Hosted by Shania Twain, the show is broadcasted live on NBC, with Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Alana Springsteen and more making appearances.
