Julianne Hough completed a polished monochrome ensemble on Aug. 25 with a pair of unique black pumps. The “Dancing With the Stars” judge was present at the 6th annual soirée for the organization This Is About Humanity, which took place in Los Angeles yesterday.
Hough selected a two-piece set to attend the star-studded party, where additional attendees included Lauren Sanchez and Eva Longoria. The outfit consisted of a black spaghetti-strap bralette with a straight horizontal hemline. The crop top was paired with an ankle-length A-line skirt accentuated with a bold belt featuring metallic detailing. Matching the belt, the dancer and writer also wore layers of gold necklaces to elevate the look.
Hough unified the black-on-black look with a pair of distinctive angular shoes, seemingly the Khaite
Satin Printed Slingback Pumps. The heels were covered in a ruched satiny black fabric, contributing to the textural variety of her ensemble; the folded layers subtly contrasted the smooth fabric of her apparel.

The shoes also featured a sharply pointed toe and a uniquely silhouetted upper — the outline of the vamp cut diagonally across the top of the foot to form an acute angle, differing from the typically rounded upper of a pump.
Hough is known to don a classic shoe with modern flair. Promoting her new novel “Everything We Never Knew” this summer, for example, she wore a pair of sheer beige pumps. For a recent book signing, she slipped into a pair of black slingback pumps from Schutz which featured a T-shaped design along the sides.
