Julia Roberts Goes Classic in Black Slingback Pumps at Gucci’s Spring ’24 Show

Julia Roberts attended Gucci‘s spring 2024 “Ancora” show held in Milan today. The highly-anticipated presentation gathered an array of top stars including Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny, Troye Sivan, Hanni, Emma Roberts, Ryan Gosling, Jodie Turner-Smith, Julia Garner, Gemma Ward and Jessica Chastain among others.
For the show, the “Pretty Women” star donned a classical pair of black slingback pointed-toe pumps. The footwear featured satin uppers that transitioned into sharp and angular pointed toes and thin but sturdy straps that sat around Robert’s heels threaded through gold buckle closures, securing the style in place. The sleek and neutral set was finished off with 3 to 4 inch stiletto heels, offering the thespian a conservative boost. The footwear offered Robert’s look a classic and sophisticated touch.
Pulling a sleek and business-centric look, the “Ticket to Paradise” actress was outfitted in an oversized light gray blazer in a structural style worn overtop a casual collared light gray button-down top. On the bottom, Roberts styled matching high-waisted baggy shorts featuring tailored pleating.
Roberts has a knack for gravitating towards the most comfortable and chic styles. The Hollywood darling’s shoe choices often vary between bohemian, contemporary and edgy styles. When off-duty, the “Unfabulous” actress’ pairs range from Ferragamo platform sandals to Ugg boots, prioritizing ease and comfort. However, she frequently re-wears pairs that are extra versatile, like Valentino or Alexander McQueen Chelsea boots, Frankie4 sandals and Gucci mules.
When hitting the red carpet, Roberts often dons neutral or embellished pointed-toe pumps, strappy sandals and ankle boots from labels like Christian Louboutin, Prada and Chloe Gosselin.
Milan Fashion Week officially kicked off on Sept. 19 and runs through Sept. 25. The spring 2024 season will see a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of brands, including Fendi, Tom Ford, Versace, Gucci and more.
