Julia Garner Showcases Green Wedge Mules at Gucci’s Fall 2025 Show in Milan

Gucci presented its fall 2025 collection during Milan Fashion Week on Feb. 25, but guest Julia Garner was dressed up for spring. The actress brightened up the room with a lively green ensemble — including a unique pair of heels — which evoked the first growth of the coming warm season. Fellow guests at the swanky Italian event included Daisy Edgar-Jones, Dev Patel, Jessica Chastain and more well-dressed stars.
Lime green was the color of the evening for the “Ozark” actress, who wore a “Brat”-hued leather minidress with a roomy fit. It looked like Gucci’s Shiny Leather Mini A-Line Dress, which retails for 3,300 euros and was featured in the label’s Spring Summer 2025 Collection. The bright monochrome dress features a square neckline and spaghetti straps as well. Garner’s look also included a colorful floral headscarf, a double-breasted black coat and a velvet horsebit-adorned purse in a dark shade of green.
Aligning well with her dress, Garner appeared to be wearing Gucci’s Women’s Wedge Mule, also a part of the Italian brand’s Spring Summer 2025 collection. Featuring green leather, the footwear style retails for $1,590.
The wedge heel is a standout feature of this backless shoe, having been sanded, brushed, polished by hand and subsequently varnished with a 5-phase process, per Gucci. The Gucci logo is embossed on the upper, making a subtle brand statement. Adding to the aesthetic and helping to secure the foot are two widely spaced straps with small rounded buckles.
Garner went with a different shade of green on the color wheel last month when she stepped out in a shiny emerald-hued jumpsuit and matching pumps. She displayed another striking footwear look at the SAG Awards in 2023 when she donned light gold metallic platform sandals from Gucci to go with a custom dress from the same fashion house.
