Julia Fox put a grunge twist on fall fashion as she arrived at “The View” in New York City on Wednesday. She visited the talk show to promote her new biography, “Down The Drain.”
The “Uncut Gems” star stepped out in a pair of Steve Madden Brecken booties. The acid-wash leather boots featured a sleek silhouette that had a center lining that ran through the pointed toe. The booties brought height to the look with a stiletto heel that was about 2 inches tall.
Just above the heels, Fox slipped on a black leather maxi dress with a red acid-wash look along the lining. The corset bodice was accompanied by silver beads that surrounded the bust and waistline. The fitted silhouette was completed with lace-up detailing on the sides of the skirt. She layered the dress with a black floor-length fur coat.
The model solely accessorized with a black handbag that had a silver-linked chain hanging in front of the leather body. She kept her dark brown hair in a sleek style, which complimented her minimal makeup that featured a glossy nude lip. The glowing look was created by makeup artist Julian Stroller and hairstylist John Novotny.
Fox was styled by Briana Andalore who has navigated the actress through her new grunge signature style. The two have known each other since they were 16 and have gone on to become lifelong friends and business partners for a luxury clothing brand called Franziska Fox.
In the past couple of years, Fox has become known for her edgy and futuristic style. The “No Sudden Move” actress always makes surprising fashion choices like the melting dress and plastic-wrapped platforms she wore to last year’s Harper’s Bazaar Icons party. Fox usually likes to go for head-to-toe drama. Her vast shoe closet is filled with every style from buckled boots to platform heels from top labels like Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti and Manolo Blahnik.
