Julia Fox modeled a funky suit look at the premiere of Steven Soderbergh’s “Presence” in New York City on Jan. 16, elevating her ensemble with a pair of brown platform shoes. Fox stars in the film, slated to release Jan. 24, alongside Lucy Liu and Chris Sullivan.
Fox dressed up in a spiffy dark gray suit including a pair of slouchy pants with a subtle pinstripe pattern and a long jacket reaching past her knees. With a satiny gloss, her colorful shirt evoked vacation energy with a bright floral pattern featuring fun hues including a buttery yellow and a deep fuchsia. The shirt’s pearlescent buttons were fastened about halfway to reveal a simple white ribbed top. She also showed off a new short haircut, her platinum blonde hair swooped above her ears.
To complete the look, Fox wore a pair of platform shoes in a rich shade of brown. The shoes featured what appeared to be a leather or leather-like upper; though her shoes were partially obscured by her pants, the curved line along the upper resembled that of a classic loafer. The shoes were lifted up by a hefty lug sole measuring several inches, with some distance between the block heel and the front platform.
Fox is known for embracing the avant-garde and pushing the boundaries of fashion. She often showcases unique footwear looks — in 2024, for instance, she stepped out in white pumps covered with semi-sheer cinched bags. She went for a modern aesthetic when she donned a pair of heeled white boost with silver and red accents back in August. See more of her shoe moments in 2024 below.
