Julia Fox was in front of cameras yet again on Monday, doing one of her famed “pap walks.” For the outing the actor, author, and host of “OMG Fashun” kept up the brat summer vibes wearing a lime green full-brimmed hat, white dress and white pointed toe stiletto pumps.
Fox has made her name with her “pap walks” where she heads out with the express purpose of being photographed by the paparazzi. She’s used the method to stay in the limelight after moments like her role in the 2019 film “Uncut Gems” and then parlayed that visibility into the prime position as host of the fashion competition “OMG Fashun.” And while those looks are often about young designers and sustainability, her latest incorporates one of the predominant cultural trends of this summer.
For the recent outfit, Fox wore an off-the-shoulder white shirt dress from Gap. The dress was notably first worn by Anne Hathaway and was designed by Zac Posen who is currently the creative director of the mass brand. Fox’s stylist Briana Andalore paired that $125 design with sheer white gloves and a latex lime green hat. The hat nods to the Brat trend, which has seen culture saturate itself in the hue as a result of the Charli XCX album of the same name.

The look was stepped up with a pair of white calf leather pumps from DSquared2. Created by Canadian twins Dan and Dean Caten, the brand released these stilettos that feature a pointed toe, silver lining, as well as a logo-plaque across the vamp. Pointed toe stilettos — particularly those where the vamp is cut low on the foot — not only add height in the almost four inches this heel provides, but also elongate the leg which changes the proportions of the silhouette. More than that, the white (and even the black) pointed toe stiletto is a wardrobe staple for most women with the white version being particularly popular in spring and summer seasons. Fox also carried a see-through bag from Sara Wong.
As with this look, many often financially splurged on footwear and accessories to pair with an otherwise moderately priced look. The DSquared2 pumps can retail for $985 at full price.
