“It” girl Julia Fox showcased her chameleonic, inimitable style in an industrial goth look starring a pair yellow latex dish gloves and chunky black platform boots on the 2025 GRAMMYs red carpet on February 2—her birthday.
For her GRAMMY red carpet debut—where she also made a splash on-stage during Charli XCX’s closing performance—Fox turned heads, per usual, in big black leather boots. The rave-ready calf-height shoes featured subtle cowboy-style detailing and an approximately three-inch platform and five-inch block heel.
Fox paired the statement boots with a cropped black leather jacket, a two-piece skirt set that appeared to be cut from pantyhose, and yellow dish gloves accented with a single pearl.
Charli XCX closed out the 2025 GRAMMY Awards—after taking home her first three GRAMMY wins herself—with a very brat performance of “Von Dutch” and “Guess.” During the latter, she enlisted a gaggle of underwear-clad friends, including Richie Shazam, The Dare, Fox and fellow “It” girls and models Alex Consani and Gabbriette Bechtel for a playfully chaotic dance party. Victoria’s Secret and their sub-brand Pink outfitted Charli’s crowd with bras and underwear, along with many pairs that flew in the air. The lingerie retailer donated 10,000 pairs of panties to the I Support the Girls Foundation in honor of the performance.
Fox rocked the same boots during “Guess,” but changed into a hot pink bra, tiny white tank top and black denim shorts.
Fox often pairs bold, unexpected footwear to accent her ever-inventive, always-bold fashion choices. She tends to favor towering heels and platforms, tall boots and mules. Some of her most unexpected shoes include a pair of stiletto mules covered in long blonde hair, black pointy-toe boots with bondage detailing, comically long pointed toe pumps, “tattooed” pumps and white heels with clinical coverings for a nurse-inspired look.
The 67th GRAMMY Awards took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2, with Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Shakira and Kendrick Lamar among the A-list pop stars who took home major wins. The star-studded music event also raised over $7 million for Los Angeles wildfire relief.
