Former City Girls member JT is still in her high fashion bag. The rapper was dressed in shades of gray when she attended a party celebrating FKA Twigs album “Eusexua” album as well. asthe musician’s birthday. She wore an arm full of bangles as well as a futuristic gray dress featuring a breastplate detail. In addition she carried an Hermes Birkin bag.
For shoes, she went to her closet and pulled out Fendi‘s Cinderella heels from the company’s spring 2010 collection under the direction of then creative director Karl Lagerfeld. While not vintage (vintage is considered anything over 20 years old) they are a coveted archival runway style. JT had worn the shoes before, sporting them back in September 2024.
The heels feature a thin tulle upper that wraps around the foot and the heel, able to tie however the wearer chooses. JT’s was grey but the upper also came in red, off-white, brown and black. In addition, the high silhouette features a thick lucite platform. The style of platform is most closely affiliated with Pleasers.
On the back of the platform is the Fendi logo in gold.
The thin stiletto measures 6.5 inches. Platforms can inflate the height of a heel without increasing its pitch. For these, the platform is almost two inches. In addition to JT, Camila Cabello also wore the Cinderella heel for her “I Luv It” video released last year. When the shoe was first sold it was available for $1,195.
Kim Kardashian has also previously wore the Fendi Cinderella shoes. She was first spotted in them in 2010 when they were released — Beyonce as well as Jessica Simpson also wore the shoe back then. In 2020, Kardashian wore them again in an image posted to Instagram promoting her Skims line.
JT is known for her fashion forward sartorial choices. She is a fan of statement making shoes, having caught (and likely helped cause) the Rick Owens and Maison Margiela Tabi boot waves in recent years.
