Jodie Turner-Smith‘s look for the Deadline Contenders Television event in Los Angeles on Sunday combined a neutral color palette with eye-catching details.
The British actress, who was there to promote the spy thriller series “The Agency,” wore a khaki-colored, tank-style bodysuit with an ivory leather see-through skirt boasting a geometrical layered design. The latter was comprised of horizontal strips and connected circles, and hit just above the knee.
On foot, Turner-Smith modeled a pair of unique pumps, Ferragamo‘s “Eva” silhouette. The hybrid style combines the look of an ankle bootie with that of a pump. Coming in olive green suede with a supple calfskin leather lining, the pointed-toe heels feature a foldable upper that can be worn up or down. They’re complete with a curvy, angled stiletto heel offering 3.3 inches of height.
The edgy “Eva” ($1,450) is available in other colorways, including classic black and bright red, on ferragamo.com. Turner-Smith donned the “Cement” version yesterday. The Ferragamo brand was founded by Salvatore Ferragamo nearly 100 years ago. Notably, Marilyn Monroe was a fan of Ferragamo’s “Filetia” and “Viatica” pumps, often wearing them on and off screen throughout the 50s. The shoemaker even designed Monroe custom red Swarovski-enscrusted pumps for her 1960 film “Let’s Make Love.”
Turner-Smith tied her chic look together with a diamond bracelet and matching rings on either pinky. The “Queen & Slim” star works with celebrity stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald and appeared on the cover of “The Hollywood Reporter” alongside the duo in 2023. The pair was included on a list of the 25 most powerful stylists. They’re also known for working with Colman Domingo, Tessa Thompson, Mary J. Blige, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
Turner-Smith has become known for her bold style since rising to fame. Recently, she’s shown off striking gowns from Vivienne Westwood, Zuhair Murad, Burberry, and Roberto Cavalli. When it comes to shoes, she’s stepped out in Saint Laurent’s popular “Scandale” sandals, Christian Louboutin’s “Iriza,” and Giuseppe Zanotti’s celebrity-favorite “Intriigo Strap.” She’s also been spotted in Sonora thigh-high cowboy boots, The Attico slingback pumps, and Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers.
