Jo Koy Hosts in Style With Classic Black Dress Shoes at Golden Globe Awards 2024

Jo Koy attended the 81st Golden Globe Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday. The comedian is hosting this year’s star-studded ceremony.
Gracing the red carpet, the “Haunted Mansion” actor donned a pair of glossy black dress shoes. The entertainer’s footwear was crafted of high-shine patent leather uppers accompanied by almond-shaped toes and sleek and sophisticated lace-up closures. Short stacked block heels finished off the set, providing the comedian with a subtle boost in height.
Koy’s footwear offered his ensemble a preppy and formal touch. Unlike the ever-similar loafer silhouette, dress shoes are far more red-carpet-ready, thanks in part to their lace-up composition. Both male and female celebrities have been seen sporting the classic dress shoe both on and off the red carpet, often paired with suits, dresses and tailored slacks. Koy’s neutral footwear application perfectly complimented his equally neutral ensemble.
Sharp and striking, the “Easter Sunday” star was outfitted in an all-black suiting moment comprised of a textural velvet blazer fitted with sharp matt black lapels and black button closures. The blazer jacket was worn atop a coordinating crisp black button-down shirt. On the bottom, Koy sported complimentary black pleated slacks. A black bowtie was fastened around the comedian’s neck, further providing his look with a formal feel.
