The United States’ First Lady Jill Biden brought forth a fun look in pumps last night at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, which kicked off on Monday and is taking place this week in Chicago.
Fashioning a sparkly blue minidress from Ralph Lauren, the first lady donned a pristine pair of pointed pumps, which were characterized by a sharp triangular design, and doused in a silver colorway that provided a noteworthy contrast to her dress. Emphasized by a sharp heel, the pumps fell within Biden’s preferred height range of 3-to-4 inches.
Although not yet confirmed, the shoes appear to be the Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Glitter Pumps, valued at around $825. The heels feature a coarse glitter fabric and are leather lined with a leather sole, and add a pop of edge with a metallic silver heel. As for the rest of her outfit, the First Lady kept things simple with minimal jewelry and accessories, preferring for her ensemble to be the statement-maker of the evening.
