Jessica Chastain Makes a Case for Polka Dots With Her Shoes on ‘Today’ Show

Jessica Chastain appeared on an episode of the “Today” show on Thursday. During her segment on the talk show, Chastain spoke about her upcoming film “Memory” and why its story caught her attention. The thespian also spoke about shopping for her own costumes on a limited budget and reflected on her career goals.
Making a case for whimsical shoes, the “Molly’s Game” star sported a pair of black and white polka-dotted pointed-toe pumps on the show.
Chastain’s footwear featured shiny satin uppers that transitioned into sharp triangular pointed toes and arched red leather insoles.

The printed garment was layered underneath a sleek black leather jacket that was fitted with silver hardware. Rounding out her look, Chastain sported large black sunglasses featuring a cat-eye construction. The actress’ instantly recognizable red hair was worn straightened and set in a face-framing side part.
Chastain’s shoe style is sleek and glamorous. The “Zero Dark Thirty” actress often wears pointed-toe pumps in a range of shades on the red carpet, hailing from brands including Christian Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman and Sergio Rossi. She’s also been seen in metallic-heeled sandals by Charlotte Olympia, Prada and Aquazzura over the years. Off-duty, Chastain’s rotation is decidedly more casual, including New Balance sneakers and low-heeled boots from brands including Chanel.
“Memory” is an upcoming drama-documentary film directed by Michel Franco. The film enlists the talents of Jessica Chastain, Peter Sarsgaard, Elsie Fisher and Josh Charles, among others.
