Jessica Chastain Gives Gilded Glam in Peep-Toe Platforms During The 20th Marrakech International Film Festival

Jessica Chastain graced the red carpet at the opening ceremony and screening of “Hit Man” during the 20th Marrakech International Film Festival on Friday in Marrakech, Morocco.
Beyond Chastain, notable attendees included Alexander Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen and Joel Edgerton. The Moroccan event has always sought to shine a celebratory light, emphasizing art and international communion.
The “Molly’s Game” star sported a pair of gilded peep-toe platform heels. The striking set was comprised of glittering uppers that transitioned into breezy open toes, thick platform soles and lofty 4 to 5-inch block heels that sent Chastain sky-high. Thin straps wrapped around the thespian’s ankles, further securing the style in place.
Coordinating her shoe game with her ensemble, Chastain sported an Armani Prive fall 2021 couture look, also in a gilded champagne shade. The jumpsuit was made of a gilded rhinestoned fabric accompanied by a beaded and pearl-embellished cape that was fastened with a gilded clasp. Rounding out her look, Chastain sported her lengthy red tresses slicked back and gathered into a ponytail.

Chastain’s shoe style is sleek and glamorous. The “Zero Dark Thirty” actress often wears pointed-toe pumps in a range of shades on the red carpet, hailing from brands including Christian Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman and Sergio Rossi. She’s also been seen in metallic-heeled sandals by Charlotte Olympia, Prada and Aquazzura over the years. Off-duty, Chastain’s rotation is decidedly more casual, including New Balance sneakers and low-heeled boots from brands including Chanel.
“Hit Man” is a 2023 action and comedy film directed by Richard Linklater based on a novel of the same name by Skip Hollandsworth. The film follows professional killer Gary Johnson, played by Glen Powell, who breaks protocol to help a desperate woman flee an abusive husband. Other cast members include Adria Arjona and Austin Amelio among others.
