Jessica Chastain was photographed taking a walk in San Sebastian, Spain today during the 71st San Sebastian Film Festival. The actress is at the festival to promote her upcoming drama film “Memory.” The film premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 8.
The “Scenes From A Marriage” star stepped into a pair of chunky black leather loafers from Gucci. The thespian’s preppy footwear was composed of glossy patent leather uppers that transitioned into rounded toes topped with silver metal horse-bit detailing, a design staple of the Italian footwear house.
The leather silhouette sat atop thick dark brown wooden platform soles that offered Chastain a substantial boost, accompanied by 3.8-inch square block heels. Loafers, no matter the style, are a closet staple for many top stars, Chastain included.
The “Molly’s Game” star was outfitted in a hot pink knitted crop top from Gucci featuring monogrammed rhinestoned detailing. On the bottom, Chastain donned dark wash denim high-waisted shorts in a baggy and oversized style. Rounding out her look, the thespian sported large black sunnies which she wore with a variety of silver jewelry that mirrored the silver detailing on her footwear.
Chastain’s shoe style is sleek and glamorous. The “Zero Dark Thirty” actress often wears pointed-toe pumps in a range of shades on the red carpet, hailing from brands including Christian Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman and Sergio Rossi. She’s also been seen in metallic heeled sandals by Charlotte Olympia, Prada and Aquazzura over the years. Off-duty, Chastain’s rotation is decidedly more casual, including New Balance sneakers and low-heeled boots from brands including Chanel.
The San Sebastián International Film Festival hosts one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized events in Spain. The festival is hosted in the capital of Guipuzcoa province. The festival will run from Sept. 22 all the way through till Sept. 30.
