Jessica Biel showed New Yorkers how to pull off a breezy yet put-together look while filming her upcoming series “The Better Sister” in the city on Aug. 26. She paired perforated waterproof shoes from Native with a relaxed denim-on-denim outfit on set today.
Biel was seen filming the thriller series in a well-coordinated but casual ensemble. She exuded effortlessness dressed in lightwash jeans in an almost white shade of blue denim, wearing them slightly cuffed at the bottom. A loose off-white T-shirt was tucked into her jeans, lending an easygoing yet refined sensibility to the outfit. She layered with an oversized jean jacket in a darker wash than her pants, offering a third shade to the neutral ensemble. The actress added an element of cool to the look with aviator sunglasses.
Biel kept the casual aesthetic going with a pair of practical white shoes from the brand Native, which makes waterproof shoes. While they were not entirely visible due to her jeans, she seemed to be wearing a style adjacent to Native’s $55 Jefferson shoe or its $55 Jefferson clog; the shoes are similar styles but the latter is a mule and the former has a silhouette resembling a low top sneaker.

On Biel’s shoes, a number of perforations along the vamp were visible; this feature allows for substantial ventilation, making it a good summertime footwear option. Native is also a brand that focuses on sustainability, it utilizing a trademarked sugarcane-based EVA called Sugarlite for some of its shoes.
Biel was filming the series in a completely different outfit the same day in New York. She was photographed in a blue striped knit dress, trench coat and a pair of beige heeled mules from Bottega Veneta.
