Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson Coordinate in Chic Black Shoes for ‘Trigger Warning’ Afterparty
Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson coordinated in sophisticated black shoes at the “Trigger Warning” afterparty at The Hideaway in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Posing together in celebration of Alba’s latest film release, Alba fashioned a pair of pointed-toe pumps for the occasion, which were constructed in patent leather. Doused in a sleek black shade, the back of the shoes couldn’t be seen fully due to Alba’s lengthy trousers, but it’s likely the pumps were finished with a slender stiletto heel ranging between 3 to 4 inches based on the “Fantastic Four” star’s previous footwear preferences.
The actress paired her pumps with a black lace corset top and wide-length trousers to complete her ensemble. Tying her hair back into a half-up-half-down style, Alba kept her makeup neutral and accessories simple.

As for Dawson, she showcased a pair of black boots emphasized by a rounded-toe construction. Stopping roughly at her calves, the boots served as a contrast to her long leopard print skirt, which she paired with a black top and matching leather motorcycle jacket. Showing off a short haircut, the “Ahsoka” star accessorized her look with gold hoop earrings.
Both Alba and Dawson’s looks for the occasion were in line with what they often choose for premieres and events. Earlier this month, Alba appeared on “The View” in a pair of patent leather beige pumps by Jimmy Choo. The pumps featured a patent leather design, a thin stiletto heel several inches off the ground and a sharp pointed toe.
For an appearance at Studio 189’s runway show during New York Fashion Week last September, Dawson slipped into a pair of black ankle booties with stretchy fabric uppers and triangular pointed toes. The shoes were completed with a thin heel measuring approximately 4 inches in height.
Premiering via Netflix on June 21, “Trigger Warning” stars Alba as a special forces commando returning to her hometown after her father’s sudden death. When she starts investigating, she encounters a violent gang. The film was directed by Mouly Surya.
