Jennifer Lopez Dresses for Comfort in Platform Uggs

Jennifer Lopez stepped out in New York City today in a pair of Classic Mini Platform Uggs. The actress and singer paired the tan boots, which have regained popularity over the last year, with a black loungewear set. The “Hustlers” actress, who has a residence in NYC, is often seen out and about in the city.
The actress and singer is frequently seen in platform shoes, whether she’s wearing boots, sneakers or heels, making this a go-to style for Lopez. Last week, Jennifer Lopez wore a pair of platform lug boots in a similar chestnut shade to the Uggs she had on today, pairing the iconic chunky style with oversized jeans. On the dressier side of footwear, Lopez wore a pair of platform sandals featuring an open toe and thick straps in a neutral shade while out with her husband Ben Affleck in March. Even Lopez’s shoe line, which she launched with Revolve in 2023, includes a sky-high platform sandal.

Lo, and the Tazz platform slippers, which have become a popular fashion statement outside of the house. In October, Blake Lively was spotted in a pair of brown leather platform Uggs during an NYC outing and this month, Chrissy Teigen sported a pair of the brand’s classic boots.
About Uggs
Uggs were originally founded in the 1970s by Australian surfer Brian Smith but the brand’s popularity took off in the decades after. The boots were initially designed as fur-lined boots for warmth but in the decades since, the fur is more fashionable than it is functional, and are seen just as often in the spring and fall seasons as they are in the winter. Their slippers have been especially trendy in the past year, and have been seen dressed up or down out in the world.
