Jennifer Lopez Does 2025 Golden Globes Weekend in Gianvito Rossi’s Popular Open-Toe Sheer Elle Mule
While Jennifer Lopez wasn’t seen on the red carpet for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t out and about for the weekend. The actress and singer had two events on Saturday, the day before the Golden Globes, and for both she chose a shoe she’s been seen in before.
For her first event, Lopez hit a brunch at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. While there she received the Legend and Groundbreaker Award sitting alongside the likes of Cynthia Erivo and Selena Gomez, who wore a pink slingback. For her look, Lopez chose a lavender mini dress styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. For shoes, the crew chose a sheer mule with an open-toe, opting for the Gianvito Ross Elle.
Last year Gianvito Rossi’s Elle got a considerable amount of play. The slip-on design was sported by Ashley Graham, Georgina Rodriguez and even Bhad Gyal. It incorporates a Plexi upper and a stiletto heel of about 3.5 inches. They fall in line with Lopez’s longstanding love of see-through or naked shoes. In fact, the performer wore the Elle while in Beverly Hills on September 5 last year.

On Saturday, she kept the shoe on through to the evening. That same night, Lopez headed to Chateau Marmont for a party thrown by Vanity Fair and Amazon MGM Studios. That event celebrated the start of awards season. For it, the actress went for Old Hollywood glamour in a white Adrienne Landau fur coat, white quilted Chanel flap bag, white Silvia Tcherassi dress, Christian Dior earrings and the same Gianvito Rossi Elle mule.
The shoe is currently available for $795. Elsewhere over Golden Globes weekend, the Elle was worn by Elle Fanning to Jas Mathur and Michael Braun’s Golden Globes after party.
