The Acadamy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, known best for her dynamic film roles and viral talk show moments, was recently nominated for a Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy or Musical Golden Globe award for her role in the R-rated comedy “No Hard Feelings.”
Lawrence has previously won three Golden Globe awards for her work in “Silver Linings Playbook,” “American Hustle” and “Joy.” In 2024, she will compete against Margot Robbie for “Barbie,” Emma Stone for “Poor Things,” Fantasia Barrino for “The Color Purple,” Natalie Portman for “May December” and Alma Pöysti for “Fallen Leaves.”
Although the star’s best work is done on screen, Lawrence has had several iconic shoe moments during her time appearing on the red carpet. To celebrate Lawrence’s recent nomination and reflect on her robust fashion history, Footwear News is breaking down some of the actress’s most memorable shoe moments ahead of the Golden Globes on Jan. 7.
Lawrence stepped out in Brian Atwood platforms to the 2013 Met Gala. The tall peep-toe black heels were adorned with a three-dimensional flower applique placed on the back of the heel and finished with a thin ankle strap.
To attend the 2014 “Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1” premiere, Lawrence wore a pair of Aquazzura metallic gold Linda sandals. The heels featured a front cross-strap delta and paired perfectly with her metallic gold clutch.
Lawrence attended the 2015 “Joy” premiere in a pair of Jimmy Choo Dory sandals. The delicate shoes peeped out from Lawrence’s long white gown and were an effortless addition to her minimalistic look.

To the 2023 “No Hard Feelings” Berlin premiere, Lawrence arrived wearing a dramatic pair of Givenchy heels. The geometric black slingbacks featured a heavy front toe and angular side strap.
