Jennifer Hudson Channels Holiday Glam in Red Dress and Pumps on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

Jennifer Hudson got into the holiday spirit early with a red dress and matching red pumps while hosting music legend Andrea Bocelli on today’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Chatting with Bocelli about how the music business has become a family affair with his children, his collaboration with Ed Sheeran and his unique vocal warm-up technique amongst other topics, Hudson’s pumps were a major highlight of her outfit. Crafted with crimson red suede material, and emphasized by a triangular design in the upper, the shoes featured a skimpy-strapped slingback with pointy toes and a sharp, stiletto 3 inch heel, which is in-line with Hudson’s previous footwear preferences.

Matching her pristine pumps with a bright red asymmetric neck belted midi dress, Hudson accessorized her look with a pair of clear glasses. While pointed pumps have been a very popular choice for celebrities and influencers alike in the year 2024 courtesy of the timeless design and versatility, Hudson has chosen to wear a multitude of footwear throughout the year thus far.

Last week, she paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston by recreating the outfit Houston wears in the movie “The Bodyguard.” This included recreating the infamous pair of black thigh-high boots Houston wore in the film. Hudson’s version featured a pointed toe and a tall heel in back that lifted them up. Similar to Houston’s pair, Hudson’s shoes also featured a slouchy design, with slight folds throughout the shaft.

Earlier last month, she also sported a pair of booties while interviewing boyfriend, Common, on another episode. Wearing a brown pair from Journee Collection, those shoes also featured a sharp, pointed toe, and were made with black patent vegan leather as the finisher. The footwear also included a side-zip for ease of use — a Tru Comfort foam insole and a contrasted gold stiletto that measured roughly 4 inches in height.
