Jennifer Connelly donned a sleek black outfit for a visit to “The View” in New York City on Tuesday.
The actress — who has been busy promoting her latest project, Apple TV+’s “Dark Matter” — wore a cropped black blazer over a white blouse featuring a frilly ruffled collar and a black leather pleated mini skirt.
On foot, Connelly showed off Louis Vuitton’s Matchmake pumps, a style that is beloved by French first lady Brigitte Macron. The style is characterized by its use of contrasting materials and colors, with supple black leather adorning most of the upper and the house’s signature brown monogrammed pebble leather covering the sturdy, 3.8-inch block heel. It’s finished off with a flower-inspired cut-out design. Connelly sported the same shoes to a special CAA screening for Paramount Pictures’ “Top Gun: Maverick” in 2022.
The pointed-toe shoes boasting a rounded vamp were first introduced in the 2010s and have been worn by the French first lady on a number of occasions over the years. While the Matchmake was once available to purchase on the brand’s website for $1,010, you’ll only find them on resale sites now.
