Jenna Ortega, appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” this week, matched a striking strapless red dress made of glass from Oscar de la Renta with minimalist red satin sandals—seemingly the Christian Louboutin 513 sandals.
For the late night engagement, Ortega modeled Look 25 from Oscar de la Renta’s fall 2025 collection, what the brand referred to on social media as “the scarlet mosaic mini.” The actress, who stars in the upcoming A24 film “Death of a Unicorn,” revealed to Colbert that her dress was made of glass. Indeed, the unique garment showcased an intricate mosaic design adorned with floral appliqués.
“I’m not going to lie, sometimes there are pieces of it that are poking my ass every time I sit,” Ortega said. “I feel uncomfortable and yet extremely comfortable.” The dress, which fell just past the actress’ knees, was fitted at the bodice and transitioned into a column skirt.
Red was Ortega’s color for the occasion. In addition to her dress, maroon lip color and subtly dyed hair, she wore a pair of red satin sandals with an understated design. Wrapped in a softly lustrous fabric, the shoes featured a simple curved strap across the toes and slender straps wrapping around the ankles.
A soaring stiletto heel lifted Ortega to new heights. The heels strongly resembled the Christian Louboutin sandals Halle Bailey wore to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
“Death of a Unicorn,” an A24 film directed by Alex Scharfman, is set for release on March 28. Amid her press tour looks, Ortega also recently wore a pair of chic square-toe pumps from Le Silla.
