Jenna Ortega attended the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” photocall held in New York today. The press tour for the highly-anticipated film kicked off earlier this week.
Reaching new heights, the “Scream” star popped on a pair of lofty Dolce & Gabbana Keira platform sandals. The patent leather style featured a strap-heavy construction and glossy black uppers that transitioned into open toes, gold adjustable buckles and thick platform soles.
Block heels standing at around 4 to 5 inches in height rounded out the set, fixed with the Italian designer brand’s logo in gold, giving the silhouette an instantly recognizable touch. Ortega’s footwear featured a monochrome all-black finish that mimicked the color scheme of her look for the day, creating a cohesive, put-together appearance. Platform heels are a favorite of many, and for good reason. The sky-high style provides the wearer with both height and length, creating an illusive elongated appearance.

Channeling the greats of horror, Ortega sported a pinstriped two-piece set in black and white ala Gomez Adams. The style featured a fitted blazer with a sweetheart neckline accompanied by a maxi-length pencil skirt. Pointy black sunglasses adorned her face.
Ortega often elevates herself with height-boosting footwear on and off the red carpet. The “Wednesday” star can regularly be seen on public outings in platform-soled boots and pumps from a range of brands, including Jimmy Choo, Steve Madden and Valentino. Off-duty, she wears thick-soled Dr. Martens platform boots and Adidas sneakers. Ortega is also solidifying her presence in the shoe world, having been named Adidas’ new brand ambassador in Feb. 2023.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the highly anticipated sequel to the cult classic, promises to bring a fresh twist to the beloved story. With Jenna Ortega taking on a leading role, fans can expect a thrilling mix of humor, fantasy, and gothic charm. The film is set for release on Sept. 2024.
