Country star Jelly Roll was joined by wife Bunnie Xo on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Monday. While the “Son of a Sinner” singer, who was tapped to perform at the ceremony, donned Nike Air Jordan 1 Lows, the internet personality’s wife wore pointy black boots with fringe detailing.
Bunnie Xo has proven herself to be a fan of pointy black boot styles. The podcaster has sported similar boots boasting pointed toes and stiletto heels on other occasions including Spotify’s Best New Artist party in February and the Power to the Patients event in January.
As for Jelly Roll, the “Halfway to Hell” artist has been known to lace up sneakers, notably Jordans, on and off stage. He also wore chunky, retro-inspired Louis Vuitton Skate sneakers at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Since 2014, the iHeartRadio Music Awards has celebrated outstanding achievement in music. The program honors the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app. The 2024 honorees include Beyoncé, who will receive the Innovator Award, and Cher, who will receive the 2024 Icon Award. Performers include Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae.
Bunnie Xo’s boots featured a black satin upper adorned with multiple tiers of fringe. The style was complete with a sharp pointed toe and a skinny stiletto heel that appeared to be approximately 3-4 inches high. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll’s Jordan 1 Low sneakers featured a mocha brown suede upper with creamy white leather overlays.
Jelly Roll is repping Nike’s iconic Jordan Brand. Michael Jordan’s namesake Nike-owned brand is a star in the footwear industry and is known for playing a huge role in shaping sneaker culture as we know it today.
