Jared Leto stepped out in New York City on July 13 wearing blue skull-shaped slides, a pair of shoes he once donned while scaling a hotel wall in Germany last year.
Outside a different hotel in New York over the weekend, the actor and 30 Seconds to Mars musician wore a relaxed white ensemble with his brightly colored shoes. He wore wide-leg white pants with a lightweight button-down featuring long sleeves and a subtle red and gray pattern. His signature long hair was worn out and he accessorized with a pair of sunglasses from Givenchy.

Leto added a pop of color to his outfit with a pair of slides in a bold shade of cobalt blue. The upper portion was designed to resemble a skull, complete with eye and nose cutouts and a jagged outline shaped like sharp teeth. Small skulls were imprinted along the sole of the shoes as well. Leto wore black socks with his slides, offering a dark but neutral base to the ensemble. With both the front and back of the shoe open, slides are an easy go-to style for summertime that allows the foot to breathe.

Leto previously wore the bright blue shoes while in Europe in September 2023. While slides are typically considered comfortable lounge footwear, the multi-hyphenate artist didn’t let that stop him from engaging in an adventurous athletic endeavor when he climbed the side of the Hotel de Rome in Berlin without a harness.
Leto is not only known for his career in entertainment and his dangerous stunts but also for his memorable sense of style.
