Jaden Smith Re-Wears Chunky Light Blue New Balance Kicks While Attending Paris Fashion Week

Jaden Smith was spotted re-wearing a striking pair of sneakers while in attendance at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.
The rapper’s pick for the high-fashion event hailed from New Balance, likely an unreleased pair. The shoe pick featured a chunky dad sneaker-like composition with breathable blue mesh and leather uppers along with matching light blue lace-up closures. White writing was fixed to the sides of the sneaker, while coordinating light blue rubber soles finished off the set, offering a non-slip feel. Smith has modeled this particular style on a number of occasions.
The silhouette can be likened to the collaborative Vision Racer “Wavy Baby Blue” pair Smith dreamed up with help from New Balance back in 2020. Similar to Smith’s footwear choice for fashion week, the Vision Racer marries fashion and utility seamlessly. Both silhouettes are equipped with endless style and performance details that make the sneaker wearable for just about every occasion.

Since the Vision Racer’s successful release, the “Summertime in Paris” singer’s collaborative footwear has been released in numerous colorways including neutral gray, neon yellow and a striking hot pink. With all this in mind, it’s clear to see that Smith is a lover of all things sneakers.
Accompanying his baby blue kicks, Smith sported a bright red and white hooded windbreaker fixed with pearl appliques. On the bottom, the star donned baggy jorts also featuring pearl detailing throughout.
Smith’s style ranges from skate-inspired to utterly futuristic. His style can be described as casual but elevated, often featuring a slew of sneakers and boots by Louis Vuitton, Nike and Vans. The “Karate Kid” star is also a top figure in the fashion world; aside from founding his own clothing brand, he’s also starred in Louis Vuitton and Levi’s campaigns, launched collaborations with New Balance and attended Fashion Month shows for brands like Hood by Air and Gypsy Sport.
