Jacob Elordi attended a press conference for “Priscilla” during the 61st New York Film Festival held in New York today. The Australian thespian was joined by his co-star Cailee Spaeny who plays Priscilla Presley in the film.
Accompanied by dark brown ankle socks, Elordi styled a pair of black patent leather loafers. The slip-on style included rounded toes with textural glossy patent leather uppers and short stacked block heels that offered “The Kissing Booth” star a subtle boost in height. The casual and sleek pair offered Elordi’s look a preppy touch, further acting to dress up his ensemble. Loafers make for the perfect addition to any ensemble, especially during the fall.
Unlike leather dress shoes, loafers are a more casual footwear choice, perfect for any occasion including attending high-profile red carpet events. The slip-on style is commonplace in many celebrities’ wardrobes, from British thespians to K-Pop idols. What separates loafers from dress shoes is their lack of lace-up closures in favor of slip-on silhouettes that are easier to put on.
Keeping it casual, the “Saltburn” star was outfitted in a white and black pinstriped button-down shirt in an oversized billowing style. The collared t-shirt was tucked into black tailored and pleated trousers which were belted. Elordi has been hailed a style icon in the menswear world, mainly for his effortless and sophisticated fashion choices.
Sofia Coppola’s upcoming film “Priscilla” will be released in theaters on Nov. 3, 2023. The film follows the life of Presley and her relationship with the King of Rock & Roll. “Priscilla” enlists the help of some serious talent including Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi. “Priscilla” is adapted from Priscilla Presley’s 1985 biography, “Elvis and Me.” The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in Sept. and boasts a 95% Rotten Tomatoes rating based on critics’ reviews.
