After boots reigned on the fall ’24 runways, they’re now ruling the red carpet — at least at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024.
From Doechii’s fuzzy DSquared2 boots to Katy Perry‘s slouchy knee-high style and Avril Lavigne‘s high-heel combat boots to JoJo Siwa’s chunky rockstar pair, the stars chose a diverse array of looks to complete their red-carpet ensembles.
Perry stepped out in a see-through mesh dress, tied up with red bows that extended all the way down to her slouchy black leather boots.
Lavigne honored Green Day — the group received the Landmark Award — by pairing a distressed Green Day t-shirt with black parachute pants and high-heeled combat boots.
Country star Jelly Roll, one of the night’s big performers, stepped out with wife Bunnie Xo, who embraced the Western trend with her choice of pointy black boots with fringe detailing.
Country music artist Blanco Brown was also in a Western state of mind, sporting a jean jacket and monogrammed Louis Vuitton desert boots.
Since 2014, the iHeartRadio Music Awards has celebrated outstanding achievement in music. The program honors the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app. The 2024 honorees include Beyoncé, who will receive the Innovator Award, and Cher, who will receive the 2024 Icon Award. Performers include Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae.
