Ice Spice brought Betty Boop to life for Halloween this year — complete with sleek shoes.
On Instagram, Ice Spice posed while in-costume as Boop in a set of sharp black pumps. The “Deli” rapper’s pointed-toe style featured black satin uppers with exaggerated round counters and triangular toes, finished by short heels for a subtle height boost — much like Boop’s own close-toed pumps.
“guess who,” the musician captioned her post, which gained support in the comments from stars including Marc Jacobs, Sabrina Carpenter and Skai Jackson.
Ice Spice complemented her pumps with a red bodycon minidress and curly black wig, further mimicking Boop’s iconic outfit. Her ensemble was complete with gleaming gold hoop earrings, two gold-toned bangle bracelets — a $225 sculpted design hailing from Alexis Bittar — and a red garter strap accented with a large red heart, similarly to Boop’s signature accessories. For a sleek finish, Ice Spice finished her look with a diamond-covered cross pendant necklace and fishnet tights.
The “Boy’s a Liar” rapper’s Halloween outing followed a string of viral moments throughout the fall season, including the launch of her pumpkin-flavored Dunkin’ Donuts drink and appearances during New York Fashion Week. She also kicked off season 49 of “Saturday Night Live” as its musical guest, later arriving at its afterparty in a studded denim Diesel outfit and brown platform heels.
When it comes to footwear, Ice Spice’s shoes vary from cozy to slick. The musician often wears heeled platform sandals and boots from a wide variety of brands, including Coach, Rick Owens and Marc Jacobs. Off-duty, she can also be seen in slides and flat sneakers from Adidas, Converse and Ugg for comfortable outfit bases.
