Helena Christensen floated like an angel on the 2024 Cannes Film Festival red carpet in strappy silver stiletto sandals on May 14. The former supermodel’s trendy metallic shoes featured a square toe, thin asymmetrical straps and approximately 3.5-inch stiletto heels.
Christensen isn’t afraid to have fun with her footwear. At The Kings Trust 2024 Global Gala on May 2, the Danish model went floral in black open-toed pumps with a large white flower on the toe. At the 2024 Tribeca Ball on April 1, she wore unique red ballet flats with a large heart. During the Formula E World Championship 2024, she wore Art Deco-reminiscent silver strappy slingback sandals.
The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival began today in Cannes, France, with Christensen, Heidi Klum, Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep leading the red carpet arrivals in style. The event opened with a screening of French film “The Second Act,” a comedy written, shot, directed and edited by Quentin Dupieux, starring Léa Seyoux and Raphaël Guenard. The film festival will continue through May 25 and will also feature screenings of “Poor Things” director Yorgos Lanthimos’ next film, “Kinds of Kindness,” as well as Francis Ford Coppola’s 40-years-in-the-making sci-fi epic “Megalopolis,” Paul Schrader’s “Oh, Canada,” Payal Kapadia’s “All We Imagine As Light” and other new movies.
