Hannah Waddingham Goes Classic in Glossy Black Leather Pumps at ‘Hello, Dolly!’ Press Night Performance in London

Hannah Waddingham attended the press night performance of “Hello, Dolly!” at The London Palladium yesterday in London.

The “Ted Lasso” star sported a pair of classic black pumps. The simplistic style features glossy jet-black leather uppers that transitioned into sharp triangular toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels that lifted the British thespian to new heights.

The timeless shoe acts to streamline any look, creating cohesion and sophistication. Other than Waddingham, celebrities such as Saweetie, Sarah Jessica Parker and Heidi Klum have also worn the style. Accompanying her sleek footwear, Waddingham donned a black slip dress in a halter style featuring delicate black lace trim lining the hem and the bodice. The midi-length style was belted, creating a defined silhouette, and paired with a rectangular clutch in white fixed with high-shine gold adornments. In a complementary fashion, the actress’ large hoops and the metal fixtures on her leather belt were also gold. Waddingham’s look was relaxed and effortless, making for a delightful no-fuss appearance on the red carpet.

“Hello, Dolly!” is a 1969 musical comedy set in 1890s New York. Performed at The London Palladium, cast members include  Imelda Staunton, Andy Nyman, Jenna Russell, Tyrone Huntley and Harry Hepple. The musical fixates on Dolly Levi, a socialite-turned-matchmaker and her latest client “half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder.
