Halle Berry Combats the Cold in Crystalized Roger Vivier Biker Boots in New York City

Halle Berry was spotted out in New York yesterday. The actress was all bundled up, combatting the cold while lugging a suitcase.
The “Catwoman” star stepped out in a pair of black boots hailing from Roger Vivier. The ankle-length biker-inspired style featured glossy jet-black leather uppers accompanied by cushy rubber soles fixed with non-slip tread and coordinating black lace-up closures. Rounded toes gave way to buckle accents fixed with high-shine gemstones that contrasted the rugged silhouette of the boots, imparting a feminine touch.
Berry’s footwear pick can be shopped via second-hand websites, given the Roger Vivier model seems to be an older one. If boots aren’t your thing, the designer brand features a host of crystalized buckle-embellished silhouettes to choose from including sneakers, loafers, mules and cozy slippers. The buckle motif is widley utilized in Roger Vivier‘s many footwear offerings.

Biker boots have become exceedingly popular within the last few years thanks to top brands like Miu Miu and Dior. The silhouette gained popularity as a reaction to the ever-girly “Balletcore” trend, combatting all the daintiness with worn-in leather uppers, chunky silhouettes and striking hardware. Steve Madden, Acne Studios, Dsquared2 and Chloe all feature biker-inspired styles.
Partnered with her booties, the “Kidnap” actress donned a lengthy olive green puffer jacket paired with what looked to be an oversized t-shirt. On the bottom, Berry wore baggy jeans with rips centered around her knees.
When it comes to shoes, Berry often wears high-heeled sandals in platform or stiletto silhouettes on the red carpet, hailing from top brands like Jimmy Choo, Sophia Webster and Stella Luna. Pointed-toe pumps from Christian Louboutin have also been a revolving part of the “Perfect Stranger” star’s shoe rotation over the years. When off-duty, Berry can regularly be spotted in Adidas and Under Armour sneakers, as well as Nike slides.
