On Friday, Gwyneth Paltrow — actress and curator of the finer things in life — released her annual Goop Gift Guide, featuring her must-have luxury items of the year.
No stranger to high-quality products, Paltrow explores the subject through her Goop aspirational lifestyle brand, which includes an e-commerce website along with editorial coverage.
Her top suggestions arrive after she recently picked up a new pair of pumps from Spanish brand Miss Garcia’s Madrid store, the label shared with Footwear News on Wednesday at the launch of its first U.S. showroom in Los Angeles.
Paltrow rocked the handcrafted brand’s Ficus Forest pumps in a photo shared on Instagram. The shoes retail for $463 online and feature premium goatskin leather, an ankle strap, jewel details around the counter and a 4-inch heel. The label’s classic pumps, booties and heels range from $270 to $770.
The chic heels were an apt choice for the Oscar-winning actress, who recently shared some of her favorite casual sneaker styles on her Goop list.
Paltrow recommended Reebok’s Z Pump Fusion 2.0 ($130) and Nike’s Air Max 90 iD ($125) as ideal gifts for fitness fanatics.
Some of the other gift options she presented included feather-trimmed anklet socks from Rihanna x Stance, which retail for $24, and a pair of alluring over-the-knee socks with bow detail that retail for $22 from the collection. She also likes Stance’s “Star Wars”-inspired kids’ socks for $16. Paltrow also praised Related Garment’s matching boxer-briefs and socks set (5) for $125.
For a luxurious night’s rest, Paltrow suggests her own Goop x White + Warren collab cashmere slippers. The footwear retails for $187 and includes a matching eye mask.
Also in the guide are Oeuf NYC’s baby alpaca wool booties, which are “certified fair trade, made in Bolivia by a self-managed community of indigenous women.” The hypoallergenic booties cost $52 a pair. She offered a less expensive option: knitted booties from Fog Linen for $22.
