Gwendoline Christie Goes Glam in Satin Bow Loafers for Dior Fall 2025 Show at Paris Fashion Week
Gwendoline Christie showcased a sophisticated look in Dior loafers while attending the Dior Homme Menswear Fall-Winter 2025/2026 show on Friday afternoon.
For the event, which was a part of Paris Fashion Week, Christie wore a pair of loafers from the Dior fall 2025 collection. Crafted with shiny patent leather material, the shoes featured a pink bow tied into a ribbon on the front as its defining feature. No additional laces or adornments were present on the shoe, which was finished with a small block heel measuring less than an inch.
For her outfit, the actress wore a grey oversized pants suit that was also likely from Dior, completing her ensemble with a large brown bag. The Dior shoes Christie showcased were another example of the classic oxford, which first began gaining popularity at Oxford university in the 1800s as a form of rebellion against knee-high and ankle-high boots.

Oxfords are infamous for being constructed with leather most of the time and are regarded for their comfort, versatility and ability to last for decades. The modern oxford shoe is much different than the original shoe established in the 1800s, as the present model offers a more refined look. Many brands including Gucci, Versace and Burberry offer different variations of oxford shoes.
Dior has a number of different oxfords available for both men and women such as the Timeless Oxford Black Polished Shoe, and the Teddy D Leather Derbies.
Christie is also a fan of oxfords for their timeless appearance, but also wears other types of shoes such as pointed-toe pumps. For Fendi’s fall 2023 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week in February 2023, the “Wednesday” star wore a set of pointed-toe pumps that featured a leather silhouette, a triangular pointed-toe design and a thin stiletto heel measuring between 3-to-4 inches in height.
In August 2022, Christie made an appearance on the red carpet for the world premiere of Netflix‘s “The Sandman” in a pair of suede pointed-toe pumps that featured pale gray uppers, triangular toes and lightly flared stiletto heels totaling at least 4 inches in height to finish her outfit, which was designed courtesy of Rick Owens.
