Gwen Stefani Gets Whimsical in Checkerboard Heels for ‘The Voice’ Season 24 Premiere

Gwen Stefani brought a pop of prints to the 24th season premiere of “The Voice.”

On Monday, Stefani took to Instagram to share a video prior to the first episode of the singing competition show’s new season — which will air on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. For the occasion, Stefani arrived at the show’s studios in a set of smooth slide sandals, which were later swapped for black and white pointed-toe pumps.

Stefani’s heels included a slingback silhouette with an allover checkerboard pattern, finished by thin stiletto heels. The style, however, served as a sleek base for the rest of her monochrome attire: a crop top, high-waisted miniskirt and flowing long coat, which all featured the same graphic print.

Stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn finished the “Rich Girl” singer’s outfit with a matching checkerboard hair bow, black fishnet tights and a sparkling diamond necklace, as well as two gold nameplate necklaces that read “Stefani” and “Shelton” (in reference to Stefani and husband Blake Shelton).

The singer’s full look could also be seen in an Instagram post by Stefani’s new co-judge Reba McEntire, which included returning judge John Legend, new judge Niall Horan and host Carson Daly.

When it comes to shoes, Stefani’s footwear complements her edgy, glamorous and eclectic personal style. For the red carpet and special occasions, the “Orange County Girl” singer often dons sparkly and embellished pumps and boots from top brands like Le Silla, Paris Texas and Casadei. She can frequently be seen in embroidered and fringed boots while off-duty, hailing from Frye, DSquared2 and Calvin Klein. For more casual moments, the musician also dons comfy footwear including Vans sneakers and Crocs clogs.
