Gigi Hadid gave ladylike style an edgy update for Miu Miu‘s spring 2024 afterparty.
On the final evening of Paris Fashion Week, Hadid stepped out for the brand’s soirée at Costes in a black leather set of its $1,270 kitten-heeled pumps. Her smooth, glossy style featured pointed toes with buckled slingback straps, further accented across its pointed toes by three longer thin straps. The style was complete with short heels totaling 2.25 inches in height for a subtle boost of elevation.
The trendy style — which has also been slipped on in recent months by stars including Dua Lipa — further streamlined Hadid’s attire for the occasion: a sheer black minidress covered with intricate embellished black flowers, which was cinched by a silky black bow waistline. Worn atop a strapless base layer, the dress brought a dynamic flair to the traditional “little black dress” — and also gained its own edge when Hadid layered it beneath a collared black leather overshirt.
Hadid gave her high-necked Miu Miu look a dash of fuller coverage with sheer black tights, as well as a pair of rectangular sunglasses and pearl drop earrings. A quilted black leather handbag — also from Miuccia Prada’s playful namesake label — added a dash of sleek texture to finish the supermodel’s outfit.
Hadid’s all-black moment followed her appearance at Miu Miu’s spring 2024 fashion show earlier in the day, where she hit the runway in a sequined suede jacket and shirt — which were eclectically belted atop drawstring swim bottoms. For a quirky twist, the model’s look was styled with oversized eyeglasses, as well as a pair of cord-strapped thong sandals accented with multicolored bandages for a DIY appearance.
Paris Fashion Week was held from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3, marking the final week of Fashion Month. The occasion featured a range of fashion shows and presentations from numerous brands across Paris, France, including Dior, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Loewe and more.
