Gigi Hadid Goes Gold From ‘Most Expensive’ Bag to Pointed Toe Sling Back Shoes at Paco Rabbane Party in Paris

Gigi Hadid is taking her job very seriously. The star is the face of Paco Rabanne‘s Million Gold For Her fragrance, with her first campaign releasing earlier this month. So naturally it would make sense that she would wear all gold while attending the brand’s after party for the spring 2025 presentation last night while in Paris.
Hadid’s dress was a gold chainlink mini dress. The sleeveless design was an homage to a dress worn by Francoise Hardy back in 1968 that was named the “most expensive dress in the world.” It incorporated 1,000 gold tiles and was encrusted with diamonds.
But instead of plates, current creative director Julien Dossena used chain links which was a motif throughout the look: the earrings, the bracelet as well as the bag. The bag, which debuted in the runway show, was also an homage to the dress and is a one-of-a-kind 1969 Nano bag in 18-karat gold. It will be priced at 250,000 euros.

For shoes, Hadid had little other choice: she went gold. The star model wore a pair of gold pointed-toe heels from Gianvito Rossi. The brand’s $995 Ascent style, the shoes were a trending silhouette as they are a slingback. Slingbacks have been a major calling card for 2024 footwear.
The Ascent features a heel of almost three and a half inches as well as the company’s signature ribbon buckle.
Earlier in the day, Hadid also walked in the Paco Rabanne show. While her footwear for it wasn’t a trendy slingback or in gold, it was a standout.
For the Paco Rabanne spring 2025 show many of the models wore a trompe l’oeil bootie style. The shoe appears to be a white kitten heel pump featuring a pointed toe and rounded vamp. That base shoe seems to be encased in resin or PVC that molds around the heel and the body of the shoe, coming up to gather around the base of the ankle like a plastic bag.
The outer later turns the pump into more of an ankle boot silhouette.
