Gigi Hadid Takes a Stroll in Black Leather Oxfords in New York

Gigi Hadid was photographed taking a stroll in New York on Friday.

For her walk, the runway regular laced up a pair of black patent leather oxfords. Paired with white ankle-length socks featuring a lettuce hem, the dressy style included rounded toes with textural glossy patent leather uppers accompanied by thick rubber soles and short stacked block heels that offered the star a subtle lift.

The neutral style offered Hadid’s ensemble a preppy touch, further acting to dress up her rather casual look. Oxfords are a popular footwear style among both men and women. Unlike loafers, oxfords are more formal and feature lace-up closures, unlike their slip-on counterparts. Oxfords are also widely available from many high and low-end brands in a range of unique styles.

Keeping cozy, Hadid was outfitted in a bright red sweater coupled with a matching cardigan, likely from her brand Guest In Residence. The oversized cardigan was worn open and featured turtleshell buttons On the bottom, the model wore a pair of dark gray mom jeans featuring holes and distressing on the knees. The denim was belted.

Rounding out her look, the brand owner sported a whimsical necklace fastened with colorful pendants accompanied by gold earrings. Hadid also wore a black and yellow baseball cap reading “Disneyland Paris” worn with thin gray ’90s-inspired sunglasses. The young star’s bleach-blond tresses were worn down and straightened.

Much like her clothing choices, Hadid’s shoe choices often veer on the casual side. The socialite frequently wears comfortable sneakers by Nike, Puma and Reebok, with which she collaborated on a capsule collection in 2018. Slides are one of her longtime favorites, which she’s worn from brands like Adidas, Ugg and Alexander Wang. Hadid’s also known for wearing show-stopping pumps, boots and strappy sandals by Stuart Weitzman, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti.
