Florence Pugh arrived at the Golden Globe Awards 2024 in Los Angeles on Sunday wearing a pair of sky-high silver platforms.
While Pugh is not individually nominated for a Golden Globe, the actress is part of the ensemble cast for “Oppenheimer,” a film that received several nominations including Best Motion Picture, Drama; Best Director, Motion Picture and Best Screenplay, Motion Picture.
Underneath her long train, Pugh wore a chunky pair of silver shoes that featured an estimated 2-inch platform base, a block heel of 6 inches, a thin ankle strap and a square toe. The hefty shoes added a beautiful shine to the sheer red paneling in Pugh’s dress and gave the actress some extra height to elevate the gown’s length.
Pugh’s custom Valentino dress was adorned with large red rosettes made of the same cherry chiffon that the rest of the gown was constructed with. The dress also featured a wrap-dress style bodice and a high waistline that expanded into a long circle skirt. The star accessorized her look with a beaded statement necklace and a chic quaffed hairstyle.
Pugh has been a brand ambassador for Valentino since 2023, also starring in the fashion brand’s campaigns. Previously, Pugh has also starred in campaigns for Valentino Beauty, Tiffany & Co. and J.Crew.
