Fantasia Barrino got a two for one last night. The powerhouse performer wore a pair of pointed-toe stilettos from Le Silla to The New York Pops’ 41st Birthday Gala honoring Clive Davis that worked for her look on the red carpet as well as on stage.
Working with stylist Daniel Hawkins, Barrino has been wearing quite a number of black pointed-toe stiletto pumps over the past few months. She’s donned pairs from Le Silla as well as brands like Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin. At the Critics Choice Awards this year, she went white in a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps with a crystal chain.
Barrino was the featured performer for The New York Pops’ 41st Birthday Gala honoring Clive Davis. Gayle King, Dionne Warwick, Deborah Cox and Martha Stewart were amongst those in attendance. The event was held at Carnegie Hall.

About the shoe
Barrino chose Le Silla’s Ivy pump. It is largely a classic black pointed-toe pump. The shoe features a rounded vamp and a stiletto heel of almost five inches with a sharp pitch. The point of differentiation for the shoe is in its silhouette. It features curved, ultra feminine lines which, when combined with its itch, make for a distinctive impression that lengthens the leg from the front view and makes a visual impression from the side profile.
The pumps are available for $563.
Back to the Black Pump
The black pointed-toe pump is a classic staple of a woman’s wardrobe. It’s recently been in heavy rotation by celebrities. Alicia Keys, Hedi Klum, Sofia Boutella and Paris Hilton are just a few who have worn the style this month. Some are slightly dressing the silhouette up via bows with styles from Versace like Michaela Jae Rodriguez.
