Eva Longoria attended a Q&A and Discovery Director Award Presentation for her film “Flamin’ Hot” during the 26th SCAD Savannah Film Festival at SCAD Museum of Art Theater held on Tuesday in Savannah, Ga.
Sporting a spin on the classics, the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star stepped into a pair of black mesh heels. The footwear was crafted of shiny see-through mesh uppers that transitioned into knife-like triangular pointed toes and walkable arches. The usage of mesh offered the classic silhouette an edgy touch.
Thin and sturdy 3 to 4 stiletto heels rounded out the neutral but unique set, offering the director a boost. Black pumps, mesh or otherwise, are a staple shoe in many celebrities’ wardrobes, Longoria’s included. The versatile style instantly offers any ensemble a touch of glamor with little to no effort.
Accompanying her mesh pumps, Longoria was outfitted in a dark gray suit. Said suit was comprised of an oversized blazer layered overtop a coordinating vest featuring brown button closures. On the bottom, the thespian completed the suiting set with baggy trousers.
When it comes to footwear, Longoria is an avid sneaker collector. She frequently shares photos and videos of her at-home workouts on social media, in shoes from Nike, New Balance, Asics and more. The actress, director and producer have also added “designer” to her resume with a trend-based footwear collection, made in collaboration with the European retailers Eobuwie and Modivo.
For more formal occasions, Longoria favors pointed-toe pumps and sleek sandals from high-end brands like Christian Louboutin, Victoria Beckham and Gianvito Rossi, among others.
“Flamin’ Hot” is a drama film directed by Eva Longoria that follows the life of Richard Montanez, the son of a Mexican immigrant who was a janitor at Frito Lay when he came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The film was released on Disney+ on June 9.
