Eva Longoria is busy promoting her new series “Searching for Spain” in New York City this week. The CNN series follows the multihyphenate “on a gastronomic pilgrimage across the land of her ancestors as she indulges in the rich tapestry of Spanish cuisine.”
Ahead of the CNN special screening which took place on Monday, the “Desperate Housewives” alum stopped by “Watch What Happens Live” to discuss the food and travel show with host Andy Cohen.
Longoria wore a vibrant red mini dress featuring boat neckline, long sleeves, and pleated detailing with gathering at the side seam. The thigh-skimming Jacquemus number also boasts a low scoop back. Dubbed the “La Croisière” minidress, it retails for $890 on ssense.com.
Longoria styled the asymmetrical jersey dress with coordinating red shoes for the talk show appearance. Opting for a head-to-toe Jacquemus look, she went with the French luxury fashion house’s high Cubisto slingback pumps. The style features glossy leather uppers, a pointed toe, and a v-cut vamp topped with a dainty tied bow. Uniquely, the slingbacks are designed with contrasting heel seats. While the one is rounded, the other is square shaped.
Also offered in classic black and baby pink colorways, the pumps are complete with stiletto heels measuring just under 4 inches. They are currently available to shop on jacquemus.com, with a price tag of $950. The “Land of Women” star tied her head-turning look together with understated hoop earrings.
Longoria worked with stylist Maeve Reilly on her red carpet look for the screening. She paired white pumps with a black strapless dress featuring a white lining and buttons down the front courtesy of Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarria.
The actress and filmmaker was also spotted pounding the pavement in New York City in strappy silver metallic Aquazzura sandals yesterday. She donned the renowned footwear brand’s Olie sandals with a shimmery sequined look for an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark.”
When it comes to shoes, Longoria has been known to wear popular brands like Paris Texas, Flor de Maria, Saint Laurent, Santoni, Manc, and Alevi. She’s a fan of platform styles, strappy sandals, classic pointed pumps, and more.
