The best place to step out wearing red bottoms is the red carpet — and the 68th annual Primetime Emmy awards on Sept. 18 was no exception.
Some of the television stars who strutted to the ceremony wearing Christian Louboutin’s red soled shoes include “Game of Thrones” stunner Sophie Turner, “Mr. Robot” actor Rami Malek and “Extra” host Renee Bargh.
For Malek’s first time as an Emmy nominee, he made the occasion a special one in sleek Louboutin Greggo flats. The black patent leather shoes feature an oxford style, long toe and laces; they retail for $945 on the label’s website.
Bargh rocked a pair of the brand’s So Kate patent leather ombre pumps that incorporated red around the front and nude at the counter and heel.
Meanwhile, “Game of Thrones” actress Turner was dressed in a floor-length semi-sheer gown, but she gave a slight glimpse of her Louboutin sandal heels while posing on the red carpet.
The HBO series garnered the most nominations this awards season, and kudos continues for its stylish cast members who scored nods, including Maisie Williams, Lena Headey, Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke.
The Primetime Emmy Awards airs live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
