Emma Roberts leaned into the theme of her upcoming movie “Space Cadet” when she wore a silver Versace skirt with transparent Gianvito Rossi heels to the New York premiere on June 27.
Set for release on July 4, Roberts stars in the Prime Video romantic comedy “Space Cadet” as a party-loving woman who finds herself in a NASA training program due to a fluke.
Attending the premiere at Manhattan’s Metrograph, Roberts was dressed in an outfit from Versace’s fall 2024 collection, contrasting the textures of a sparkling silver miniskirt and a smooth strapless bustier in a space age shade of sand. Aligning with the space-oriented plot, the reflective skirt featured loose folds in the front which added texture to the garment. Meanwhile, the top was made of a thick structured material.
Roberts matched her top with a pair of beige heels from Gianvito Rossi. Known as the Metropolis 105 sandals, the slingback heels are somewhat translucent and feature one strap that loops around the ankle, crosses diagonally over the foot and across the toes. The Italian-crafted shoes feature a thermoplastic polyurethane upper, a leather lining, and leather sole. Roberts’ modern footwear further emphasized the futuristic mood of her ensemble.

Proving to be a popular on the Hollywood circuit, Gwyneth Paltrow recently wore the Metropolis shoes when attending the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this month.
Roberts has been out and about in New York City lately. Prior to her premiere, she wore a white dress with white loafers accented with gold hardware. She is indeed a devotee of loafers but doesn’t limit herself when it comes to footwear, having worn mesh heels earlier this month in New York and white platform peep-toe sandals at the 2024 CMT Music Awards in April.
